Portfolio & Skillset

Here you will find my most recent work. I have categorized most of it by "type", however as a generalist developer most of my projects rely on multiple skills at once.

As a generalist in the developer space for over 8 years, I am proficient in most tasks. This is great for general knowledge and collaboration workflow, as I can identify and prep more efficiently for other developers to work with the content I output.

Some tasks I excel at more-so than others. You can find my full skillset under each category.

Other Skills

These are my non-development related skills; some don't really have a way to properly display them via screenshot, so this section will be more limited.

Digital Art

I rarely do digital art anymore, but it is something I do enjoy occasionally.

I do not have a drawing tablet at the moment for my digital art, so everything is done via mouse.

QA Testing

I have a huge knack for attention to detail. While Everbloom had their testing programs up, I was a top-tester that contributed to their major three collaborations; Dungeons & Dragons, Universal Studios Experience, and the Disney World maps.

My job was to test rigorously for bugs, defects, and potential ways to break their maps while recording, documenting, and adding steps to reproduce issues for the developers.

I also contributed to the game Beasts of Bermuda's initial balancing for certain dinosaurs upon their release, along with bug reports, and even conceptualization of the Kaprosuchus' abilities & balancing themselves.

Coding / Scripting

These are the coding & related skills

Coding/Scripting

Coding is not my favorite, but I am able to understand and create a large majority of systems within the scope of things I can do.

I do not accept commissions for coding alone. However it is a good skill to have so I know what is going on inside of systems and be able to debug & contribute without help.

The code on the right consists of examples that are difficult to portray what everything does for those who lack context.I'm unable to make a short description on everything that would properly display the full complexity of what is going on, but if you have inquiries on my coding capabilities I am more than willing to discuss & explain in a further capacity.

3D Development Skills

The following are all of the skills I've become familiar with as a self-taught 3D Artist.I am always looking to expand on my skills & find methods to learn.

Roblox UGC

Robox UGC is something I'm extremely interested in doing.

I have only uploaded one plushie model to ugc, but I am familiar with the process and will be making more.

Mapmaking & Terrain

A good map can make or break a game.Poor planning, composition, and a lot of other factors can force a game to feel stale, boring, broken, or generic.

Making things interesting to look at, changing lighting for biomes, repeatedly testing a spot to make it perfect is one of my favorite things to do when I get proper inspiration.

Roblox Rigging & Animation

These are several years old since I moved primarily to blender, but I'm leaving them here as a proof of concept.

These rigs and animations are 4 years old.I highly recommend checking out my blender animations for more recent work.

This was also before I started welding non-moving parts.

Stylized Models

I adore stylization in modeling, and it has been the thing I enjoy most doing. The models in the slideshow are all made by me in the past few years.

These models can take me around two to four hours to create, with complexity dependent on the reference.

My primary process is very similar to low-poly modeling, only adding polys where it is needed to keep my stylized models very optimized without having to retopo it.I do not use subdivision modifiers for my primary style of modeling, but depending on what is asked or required, I am able to use subd modeling methods.

Sculpts & Retopology

I've been sculpting for less time than I have been making stylized models. It's not as much of a requirement when it comes to ROBLOX development.

However, I do enjoy the process of sculpting and would like to branch out into it further.

Here are some of my for-fun/practice sculpts & retopology.

Rigging & Animation

I have recently swapped over to making blender animations & rigs for my stylized models.I did have to compress most to fit in the file size limit.

I initially started animation & rigging on ROBLOX using their default editor, but swapped over to blender to be able to manipulate my models and animations with more control.

Due to this, I have acquired the knowledge on how to make hybrid mesh deformation rigs for wings, fins, and more ontop of normal roblox part rigs!

These typically include Inverse Kinematics for the legs, as well as damped tracks for the tail or other floppy chains and such.
